A strange, dense fog, a monstrous being in the clouds, and otherworldly tendrils change their lives forever when one of them vanishes without a trace. Sixteen years later, a new tragedy forces the remaining friends to reunite, confronting the terrifying truth of what happened in the Alabaster Forest and the cosmic mystery of The Tether.

The Lost

The Sky God & The Tethers
It moves within the clouds, a being of immense power spoken of in ancient folklore as a balancer of worlds. But its most terrifying feature is the Tethers—glowing, electric, rope-like tendrils that descend to Earth. Are they gateways? Weapons? Or something else entirely? The friends must uncover the truth behind these interdimensional highways to save their lost friend and perhaps themselves.

Potawatomi Sky Lore
Local Merrygrove history is intertwined with the Potawatomi people who once inhabited the Alabaster Forest. Their legends speak of a powerful "Sky God," a guardian of the veil between worlds. Elders passed down stories of shimmering "ropes" that would descend from the heavens, warning that they were sacred pathways not meant for mortals. Is this ancient tale a forgotten truth about The Tether?
The Nazca Enigma
Far from Merrygrove, the deserts of Peru hold a similar mystery etched into the earth: the Nazca Lines. These massive geoglyphs, visible only from the sky, depict strange figures and impossibly long, straight lines. Could they be an ancient attempt to map, worship, or communicate with the very same entities and their Tethers that have now appeared in Merrygrove?
